Abby is devoted to helping people and organizations find more conscious and productive ways to exist in the world.

She worked for many years in the music industry, as a song writer, engineer and producer, until a series of health crises served as a not-so-subtle invitation for her to reexamine her life path, and to revisit her deep commitment to spirituality.

An intensive course of study in energy work, meditation and counseling culminated in Abby’s ordination as an interfaith minister, and the completion of her masters degree in divinity at Gauden University. Abby is now on the Gauden faculty, and is involved in creating new programs, including the Intsitute for Professional Development, which offers a spiritually-based program of supervision and renewal for people in the helping professions.

No stranger to innovation, Abby is the creator of Environmental Dynamics™, a multidisciplinary approach to developing physical environments that help individuals and organizations achieve their goals.

Abby is also a writer, musician and proud mom to a fifteen-year-old son. She lives in Garrison, NY, with her partner, Dennis Stobinski, and offers consulting, coaching and energy work services through her website http://www.abbystraus.com.
