A very intertaining series of books featuring the 'Wizard/Private Investigator for hire' Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden and often his friend Murphy, not to mention Bob the Skull (although now that I have mentioned him, I could use a talking-magical-refferrence-skull around.... hmmmm) and a variety of other wizards, vampires, hitmen, shapeshifters, fairies, demons, angels and Chicago mobsters. Follow Harry as he tries to prevent supernatural (and natural) forces from destroying Chicago, while making enough money to pay his rent... Hey rent isn't cheap!!
