Conference Volunteers

Become part of our fabulous 2007 Conference Volunteer Team!

A note from Arline Berman, our Atlanta volunteer coordinator:

Welcome to 'Hot" Lanta!

This year the Spirit at Work Conference will be in a beautiful parklike setting in Atlanta and you'll love it! I'm recruiting some special people to assist as volunteers, and if you hurry and register, you'll get a reduced rate on your registration.

Please contact me by e-mail or phone (770-457-9307) to put your name on the list. We'll have a conference call at the end of Sept.

Thanks in advance!

Arline N. Berman

Here's how it works:

    • You pay your own room and board
    • You pay a reduced conference fee: $299 (a savings of $200)
    • You give us a minimum of 5 hours of service to the conference

Possibilities for service before the conference:

    • Taking ISAW posters to conferences and workshops
    • Putting posters up at churches, bookstores, spiritual centers, and other relevant places (making sure to get permission when needed)
    • Other outreach

During the conference we ask volunteers to serve for at least five hours. Duties could include:

    • Registration
    • Helping people to their sleeping quarters after registration
    • Room monitoring during workshops
    • Speaker hospitality/liaison
    • Technical support
    • Picking up travelers at the airport
    • Bookstore support
    • Marketplace support (vendor tables)
    • Workshop signs
    • Moving people from one event to the next
    • Liaison with Simpsonwood for room requirements, etc.
    • Creating signs for workshops
    • Putting workshop signs up as needed

We're looking forward to having you with us at the conference!
